Teacher :: David

Since the age of 11, has been trained in most dance styles and after 2 years of exploring as many styles as possible, he decided that TAP was the style he wanted to pursue. In 2002, David completed the ED5 International Certificate IV course in Performance Arts and has never stopped performing.

David has had the pleasure of performing countless times both nationally and internationally with “Red Hot Rhythm”, the professional TAP group, including the Grand Final of AUSTRALIA’S GOT TALENT 2009 and Red Hot Rhythm’s original production “RHYTHM JUNKIES” in April 2012. He has also had the pleasure of doing many corporate performances with “Those Tap Guys” in QLD, Christine Denny’s “Rhythm Works Oz” in Sydney and was cast as WING in Harvest Rain Theatre Company’s Production of “HOT SHOE SHUFFLE” in 2008.

Over the years David has had the privilege of appearing on various televised events and TV shows including Australia’s Got Talent, Today Show, The Shak, Home and Away, So You Think You Can Dance and the Super-league Grand Final Opening Ceremony.

In January 2011, David became a Full-Time Tap teacher and has been teaching Tap Technique/Choreography to Dance Schools and Full-Time Performing Arts Courses across Brisbane.

He is proud to have been teaching Christine Denny’s “TAPATAK OZ” for over 2 years and is an ambassador for the product.
