Dear Show Dance Families,
We are getting in to our very, very busy time of year. Our Concert!! There is always so much happening, so we try to be as organised as we can.
PHOTO DAY
Photo day have been changed to 26 October. Times are still the same. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Firstly, Photo Day! Photo day is an optional extra, No one has to be a part of this day. It’s a nice memory to take home or to give to a family member or friend. Photos will cost $5 for a 4×6 and $10 for 5×7. You will be able to order them at dance and on rehearsal day. No later than that. Photo’s can be pick up last week of term 4. You need to come in full costume with hair and makeup done.
REHEARSAL
Secondly, Rehearsal Day. We always highly recommend that everyone is a part of this day. It gives your child a chance to get to know the stage and what they will be expecting on the night. There will be a canteen on the day which will be selling water, soft drink, chips and more. The prices range from $1–$5. You need to come in full costume with hair and makeup done.
CONCERT
Thirdly, the concert. Hopefully you have all read that there will be 2 concerts this year. This is because we sold out last year. Also it is nice to show off all our work twice as we have worked very hard all year. Please arrive 30?45 mins before the show. There will be a sign in sheet as you enter backstage. Anyone under the age of 13 has to have someone sign them in and out. If you’re a Senior you can sign yourself in and out. There will also be a canteen for both shows, same as rehearsal.
You will get an invoice in the holidays about your child/rens costumes and term fees. The email will be coming from this same address. As soon as you pay your term fees and costume fees you can come and collect them from dance or give us permission to give them to your child.
TICKETS
Tickets go on sale Friday 7 November at 3.30pm at the hall. It is allocated seating so get in quick! Prices for adults are $20 and school age is $15. Anyone under the age of 5 is welcome to free entry so long as they do not occupy a seat.
Extras to get for concert. Everyone who does jazz and ballet needs shoes and tights. Please come and see me or any staff to get sized. Tights cost $15 and shoes are between $35–$45. Everyone also need a Show Dance shirt. This year we are selling costume bags for $15. We have limited stock available. These are a great way to keep costume under control. So to avoid those last minute freak outs, come and give us a visit and have a look. Please call if you have any quires.
